Welcome to the Society of Health Play Specialists

The official education and registration body for Health Play Specialists working in the UK and elsewhere.

2024 sees the start of a new chapter for Health Play Specialism in the UK. Following years of work and a huge investment of time and resources, the Healthcare Play Specialist Education Trust (HPSET) had merged with sister organization, the National Association of Health Play Specialists (NAHPS), to form the Society of Health Play Specialists (SoHPS).

Setting the standard of excellence in provision of play and recreation in health care.
