Graduates with a Foundation Degree in Health Play Specialism from one of the SoHPS accredited course centres become eligible to register with SOHPS on completion of the course.
New registrants are issued with a unique registration number (PIN) and added to the Public Register at the end of August/early September each year and receive an email with further details when this action is complete. They may then use the job title ‘Registered Health Play Specialist’.
New registrants may continue to access their secure User Page of the SoHPS website with the username provided at the start of their training. The registration number, re-registration date, and CPD audit date are recorded on the User Page for easy reference. The registration number and re-registration date should be shared with the line manager and HR department and quoted in all correspondence with SoHPS.
New registrants are advised to check that all personal and employment details are correct and to update these as it becomes necessary.
